The DiMAC^WiDE+ is our large format digital aerial camera that captures a footprint of 13,000 pixels across by 8,900 pixels along the flight line by using just 2 adjacent Camera Modules.

The DiMAC^WiDE+ architecture of just 2 CMs reduces the risk of hardware or image quality problems, with fewer CCDs and associated components, and also minimizes the post-processing necessary to produce the final color image.

The modular, upgradeable architecture of the DiMAC^WiDE+ incorporates the core DiMAC benefits of True FMC and True Color acquisition. Note that the use of FMC technology is the only means to ensure proper light exposure and blur-free imagery when utilizing the highly demanding 60 MP CCD sensor with its 6 µm x 6 µm pixels.

The DiMAC^WiDE+ includes the DiMerge software, which seamlessly combines the images from the 2 CMs into a single frame. The result is a geometrically and radiometrically corrected frame that can be used for both photogrammetric and orthophoto applications.

An optional configuration of the DiMAC^WiDE+ that enables simultaneous acquisition of color and near infrared imagery utilizes additional CM(s) equipped with NIR filter(s).

The DiMAC^WiDE+ is an excellent digital replacement for aerial film cameras, with superior image quality at the lowest cost of any large format aerial camera.
