Longmont, Colorado, DIMAC Systems, LLC - a joint venture of DIMAC Systems, of Luxemburg and VXServices, LLC, of Longmont, Colorado - announced today that Pinnacle Mapping Technologies, Inc., of Indianapolis, Indiana, in cooperation with their flying partner Great Lakes Aerial Surveys, of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, has purchased the DiMAC 2.0 digital aerial camera to acquire high quality digital aerial imagery for its photogrammetric operations.
Since its creation in 2002, Pinnacle has established itself as a market leader by continually investing in state-of-the-art technology. Due to DiMAC’s color area CCD sensors, True FMC and straightforward implementation into existing workflows, Pinnacle has selected the DiMAC as the best fit to again extend its capacity to deliver high quality imagery in a shorter time and at a lower cost. "Technological advancements are at the core of our business model. Doing more with less overhead helps us maintain that competitive advantage we have gained over the past 4 years" said Brenda King, President of Pinnacle Mapping Technologies, Inc.
Besides incorporating all of the essential requirements for a large format digital aerial camera, the DiMAC also offers a flexible and upgradeable solution that will allow Pinnacle to follow the evolution of area CCD sensors, leading to larger footprints and a simpler operation. "The flexibility and expandability of the sensor were important factors in our decision" noted King.
DIMAC Systems is naturally very pleased that such a forerunner in its industry has recognized the benefits offered by the DiMAC technology and anticipates a fruitful collaboration with Pinnacle. King also said "we are one of only a few firms in North America that has project experience with all three of the mainstream, large format sensors offered in North America.
